Feature: Delivery Location Change for Guests

Understanding the delivery location change

This feature allows Guests to have the option to change their delivery location. So, if Guests need to change their pick-up or drop-off location after the booking has been made, they can do so with ease. This added functionality provides a more flexible and user-friendly experience for all our Guests.

It allows Guests to request a change in the delivery location of the vehicle anytime between after the booking is accepted to at least 3 hours before the trip is set to begin. As a Host, you'll have up to 2 hours before the start time to respond to this request. This flexibility supports both the Host and Guest in ensuring the pickup is convenient and efficient without the need to rebook.

Approved or rejected: the one-time location request

This feature allows for a single location change request, which the Host can approve or reject. When you approve a Guest's request, the delivery location will be updated automatically.

Host has the option to choose between Dasher delivery or self-deliver.

Furthermore, you can choose between Dasher delivery or Host Self-Delivery which gives you further control, allowing you to tailor the experience to your schedule and preferences.

If the booking change is accepted, the original Dasher will be unassigned, and a new one will be assigned to meet the updated requirements.

Hosts have the option to accept or reject a location change request.

On the other hand, if you decide to reject the request, no changes will be made to the original arrangements and Guest will be notified. Itโ€™s important to carefully consider whether the new location is feasible for you, as your decision directly affects the Guest's plans and their overall satisfaction with TREVO's service.

When Guests can edit the delivery location, it opens up several advantages for Hosts on TREVO. Firstly, it increases the likelihood of bookings, as Guests appreciate the convenience and are more inclined to rent if they know they can adjust the meeting point to suit their needs.

This flexibility can lead to better ratings and reviews, which are crucial for attracting future Guests. Moreover, efficient coordination saves time, allowing you to manage your bookings more effectively.

While the Guest can't change the delivery time, the location flexibility alone significantly enhances the user experience.

  • Guest can edit delivery location more than 3 hours before the start of the trip.

  • Guest canโ€™t change the delivery time, only the location.

  • If the booking change is accepted, the original Delivery Agent will be unassigned and a new one will be reassigned if the Host chooses Delivery Agent delivery. Guest will be able to view the changes on the app as well.

  • Yes, there is a RM2 Service fee for charged to the Guest for location changes. If the request is rejected, the Service fee will be refunded automatically and follows the standard refund processing time.
