Accepting and managing bookings

Congrats! You’ve successfully listed your car and got your first booking request. Here’s what you need to know to ensure a smooth sail.

On the TREVO app, under your listing, you can view booking details of upcoming, ongoing, and completed bookings.

Reviewing a booking request

When you receive a booking request, accept it as soon as possible within 24 hours.

Any booking that is not accepted within 24 hours or 1 hour before the booking start time (whichever comes first) will be auto-rejected.

This will impact your performance as a Host.

Booking details available:

  • Booking start date and time

  • Booking end date and time

  • Delivery details - only displayed if the Guest opted for delivery/pick up

  • Booking ID

  • Breakdown of charges paid by the Guest, Access Fee (Daily Rate), Delivery fees and other applicable fee(s).

Your net earnings (Access Fee - Marketplace Commission - Service Tax) will be displayed under Account > Payments > My Earnings

Did you know?

Our Guests would wait up to 30 minutes for their booking request to be accepted before they decide to book with another Host. So it’s best to accept booking requests as soon as possible.

Booking request that is not responded to within 24 hours or 1 hour before the start time, whichever comes first, will be auto-rejected.

Before accepting a booking request

  1. Check the reviews on the Guest profiles from previous Hosts. Note that new Guests without a past booking will not have a review on their profile.

  2. Check if the booking requires delivery or self-pick up. If the Guest paid for delivery, it will be arranged automatically.

  3. If you’d like to get to know your Guest more, suggest an alternative delivery time or location, you can always discuss with them directly by messaging or calling them.

Once you have accepted a booking request, 2 new sections will appear on the booking page:

After you have accepted a booking request

  1. Decide on a time and location for pick up (eg. 17 October, 9am, Pavilion Raja Chulan Entrance) with the Guest, if you haven’t.

  2. Conduct an inspection with the Guest (self-pick up or if you’re delivering the car) or with the delivery partner (if the Guest opted for TREVO delivery service).

  3. Be sure to take photos of the conditions of the car (at least one photo for each side, and photos of the interior). This is to safeguard your interest if you need to file for a claim later.

  4. Verify by checking the IC and driver’s license of the Guest or the identity of the delivery partner.

Cancelling a booking

Once you have accepted a booking request, you will not be able to cancel. If you have to cancel due to an emergency, please contact our Customer Support team via live chat.
